Latest Check-Ins

24hr parking allowed, plenty of room. Established parking with pit toilets.

Report Check-In

Ok, so there is a sign which does say Overnight Parking ok. There is also a sign below which says no camping or sleeping in vehicles, but it also talks about snow plowing. I think you’re good outside of winter. It’s a nice little corner area close to the freeway exit. Not super quiet, but dark. There were two camper vans there with me plus one small motorhome and four cars. I car camped and had no issues.

Report Check-In

Definitely not closed. We stayed here one night and had no issues. Several other vans and people camping out. Signs say “overnight parking lot”. Nice little creek that had some fish in it if you enjoy fishing. Porto potties (not very clean) and trash cans available. We would stay again.

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights with no issue, on the third night cops came around and kicked everyone out.

Report Check-In

Frisco/Main Street exit off Interstate 70. Travelers who sleep in their vehicles should consider this location closed. There is a sign, picture attached, that clearly states the Town of Frisco, Colorado, does not want you here. I found the entire area of Frisco & Breckenridge very unwelcoming which is exactly the opposite of the Cañon City area where there was a wealth of free camping along the Arkansas River (government approved 14-day stay max). In Frisco & Breck, the wealth don't want you there.

Report Check-In

Decided not to stay. Need ac for the old dogs. Portable potties. Some tables and grills near the river. Close to nice paved trail.

Report Check-In

24hr parking, porta potty, paved trails that are great to walk the dogs along river. Trail to downtown. Noisy from I70 traffic but worth it.

Report Check-In

24 hour lot. Slept here with about 6 other rigs. Highway noise, but right next to the creek. Nice trail right there and access to picnic tables and charcoal grills.

Report Check-In

Not closed. Saw plenty of vehicles parked overnight. Sign allowing 24-hour parking is still up..

Report Check-In

It is not closed.
Overnight parking allowed 24 hr
No camping - I myself don’t think sleeping in my car is camping, I think getting stuff out to sleep, cook, etc is camping. And maybe the sign means no camping in the grass? Worked well for the night since the rest stop west of here is 1 hr parking only.

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

Snow and fatigue made us stop our drive sooner than planned. So thankful this lot was available. Had no issues getting an 18’ Dodge van in and out, saw another van there plus a few cars. A bit of road noise, but very manageable.

Report Check-In

Spent 2 nights here when skiing at Breckenridge & Keystone. Signs definitely say no camping but lots of other vans in the lot. We weren’t bothered or asked to leave

Report Check-In

just got knocked on by police. NO overnight parking anywhere in Frisco

Report Check-In

Didn’t read all the reviews, so I didn’t realize that the Overnight Parking Allowed signs didn’t mean I could also sleep here in my little hatchback. There were a handful of other cars/vans who also seemed to sleep here. No one bothered us on this cold wintry night. I don’t remember seeing toilets, so maybe they get removed for the winter? Good Verizon signal.

Report Check-In

Free Overnight parking allowed. Right next to the I-70. Signs say 24 hour limit. Certain times of certain days not allowed to allow for snow removal in the winter. We didn’t stay overnight but we stopped and took a e hour nap from about 2 pm to 5 pm. There were plenty of parking spaces available and it was quiet. I’d feel comfortable staying the night when passing through.

Report Check-In

This has been one of the go-tos for a long time but the last couple weeks frisco pd have been kicking everyone out about once week around 10:30-11pm. There is no camping allowed in frisco.

Report Check-In

I would definitely call this closed. Almost stayed the night here with at least six other vans and an rv- cops showed up around 11pm banging on doors saying that there’s no overnight camping allowed anywhere in the town of Frisco including the nearby Walmart.

We had to drive back to a rest stop that we stayed at the previous night off 70.

Report Check-In

We stayed a week and a half ago and the lot was full, no problem. Tonight we got knocked on by the cops at 10:30pm and told move. Apparently no one is allowed to camp in their vehicles, I think it’s new.

I’d probably avoid this one.

Report Check-In

Great place to crash for the evening, right off the highway, close to Keystone. Relatively quiet and as mentioned- two porta potties on site and quite a few other vans/campers were here for the night.

Report Check-In

Popular spot to stay the night. We came in around 8p and snagged one of the last spots. 2 porta-potties. Quiet location. Sign says 24 hour parking allowed.

Report Check-In

great spot. try and park in the lot closest to interstate if you are in an RV. the locals will start complaining and sgut this down if there is limited parking from RVs trying to live here
just filled up my 30 gallons of free water for the Berkey water filter

Report Check-In

Big parking lot but you need to wait a bit for it to clear out at the end of the day due to all the people using it for kayak shuttle and trailhead day use. Highway noise but i kinda like it, the spots close to the stream kinda drown it out. Stayed one night, left early.

Report Check-In

Great little spot just off the highway. We checked out the lot downtown, 1km away, and they have similar signs, but the downtown lot explicitly says no camping - no such restriction here, 24 parking allowed but not trailers

Report Check-In

Plenty of space. No trailers allowed. Walking distance to downtown. Highway noise died down at night. 2 porta Johns

Report Check-In

parking up to 24 hours allowed. 2 porta potties. next to river. no overhead lighting, though a few street lights across the street. several others sleeping in vans, cars, and small rigs. walking distance to main street restaurants and next to bike path.

Report Check-In

Parking lot for trailhead- good place off the highway next to the river - can fit sprinter van or something a little bit bigger - no big rigs - good internet connection and good access to this beautiful city

Report Check-In

Very close off HWY 70 next to downtown Frisco. You can park your car here for 24hours. There are campers and vans in the back. Views of Mt Royal and rivers surrounding parking lot. No parking Thursdays 7am-10am for Snow Removal. No trailer parking allowed anytime. Two Portable toilets provided.
Cell coverage: Sprint LTE1 Verizon LTE3
