I used to lived in Mountain View before van life and the city has made it much more difficult to stealth camp. This map shows everywhere that street camping is allowed in town. https://www.mountainview.gov/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=38351 That said, we stayed in this lot last night. It’s a quiet public parking lot and the only posted restriction is that from 8am-6pm you’re only allowed to park here for 3 hrs. It’s about a block from the cal-train track so there is some noise but we didn’t hear any trains after 10pm.
Report Check-Instationnement vraiment sécuritaire et tranquille. On a passé une très bonne nuit. Beaucoup de restos autour et beau quartier propre.
Report Check-InPerfect location for a night in downtown Mountain view. we stayed 1 night on a Friday night. a lot of restaurants, bar, bakery two blocks away. Very quiet for a central place like this
Report Check-InThis was a nice place to stay. We were in the dirt lot where some locked dumpsters were located at the end. A couple of trains passed by during the night but any noise was short lived. Another RV pulled in later in the night. Walking distance to several nice places to eat. Would absolutely stay here again.
Report Check-InStayed overnight for 1 night with our motorhome 27". We were alone in this place, safe and quiet.
