Walmart Miramichi | Informal Campsite

My first stay in a walmart parking lot will not be my last!
Monday night in early October, there were 3 of us staying at the back left of the park (side of the garden, back near the big Walmart Sign). We had no issues, felt very safe and very quiet after 10pm (when the store closed) - do recommend! Service was great!

Good Walmart stay. Did our grocery shopping. Lots of RVs in lot.

Big parking almost leveled. Very quiet during the night. We were almost 15 RVs last night.
Grand stationnement assez au ni eau. Très tranquille durant la nuit. Nous étions environ 15 VRs la nuit dernière

Another uneventful and reliable Wal-Mart stay. We didn't call ahead to see if it was okay to park, when we arrived around 6pm there were 3 RVs there and two other camper vans arrived later. We parked on the far left side in toward the garden center.

Arrêt dodo autorisé uniquement a l’extrémité du stationnement du côté du centre jardin loin de l’entrée. Nous etions seul mais tres tranquille et aucuns désagréments.

Sleep stop authorized only at the end of the parking lot on the side of the garden center far from the entrance. We were alone but very quiet and no inconvenience.

We arrived after the store closed at 5pm (on a Sunday) so we had the whole place to ourselves. Very quiet except for a bit of road noise but it was not too disturbing. There’s McDonald’s wifi if you park close enough.

Right by highway and the truck traffic is very loud. Choose your spot carefully.
