An old abandoned provincial park. One big lot with some smaller spots as you go down the road. Several locals fish at the river. Follow the road and you'll see the oldest bridge in Newfoundland.

This was a provincial park that was sold but abandoned. The town ran it for awhile then gave up. Now it is free for anyone. The dirt road into the parking area has some large potholes, but it is ok for motorhomes. In late August there are dense blueberries beside the parking lot. Salmon fishing is good here. The dirt access road is just before the bridge before the passing lanes when travelling south from the trans Canada highway. There are some long term campers here -- generally retired people that come by occasionally to salmon fish, or release their quads (ATVs).
