One of the best kept camp sites we have been to. The camp has a pool, expense ablutions. Best warm shower I have had so far. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.
For the price we expected run down wild camping. The opposite is true. The drive and walking trails are spectacular

Great campsite, with clean ablution and with a nice pool and deck next to it to relax. The tracks in the park are 4wd recommended, but are not that difficult. Allow 1,5 hours to reach the campsite from nearest towns. In the park there are 2 nice walks and a easy 4x4 trail (big trucks won't fit). The spots on the campsite are named after animals, with Steenbok being the most private one and with shade during the day (but not so much during the late afternoon. The others are all shady during the morning and afternoon (with Springbok being the second most private). The office closes at 4pm, but as far as I could see, you could also arrive after that and do the check-in the next morning...

Wonderful camp. The kitchen a refuge on cold and rainy days we encountered. Large windows in the kitchen and enough warmth to making camping pleasant. staff wonderful. The track in from Touws River not difficult at all in a LC 79 normal clearance for that truck.
