Several camping sites, completely free, no amenities. Plenty of hiking/equestrian/biking trails. Tucked in the southern part of Chattahoochee NF. Upper parking lot, lower campsites, turn arounds available. 24ft motorhome with a trailer and a heavy load had no problems.

WOW! This place is awesome! Obviously visited not during peak season, had the whole place to ourselves! We choose to stay in the gravel parking lot once immediately arriving due to the weather. Stayed for 2 nights without ANY issues! I worked during the day, had the local Sheriffs deputy stop by and chat - he was just making sure everything was okay.
Did rides both morning and evening - gravel and MTB. Was an awesome place to get off grid for several days!
Report Check-InQuiet, lots of space between camping spots, very discreet lots of trees, tons of trails! Great spot for Onewheeling imho.
Report Check-InVery short dirt road into a large gravel and dirt parking area. Quiet, flat, free and simple.
Report Check-InI've been camping at Jake Mountain for about 5 years now. it's a great spot. sometimes the weekends are a little shady with all the townies coming out and getting drunk. but I've never had any problems here. Sprint & Verizon reception is spotty at best.
Report Check-InGreat site; though no services, not even a pit toilet. If you camp near the entrance, spurs A, B, or C, expect a lot of traffic; especially on weekends. The rear is very secluded; shaded everywhere, but I found enough sun for my solar. T mobile and straight talk signal, 2 bars 4g LTE, for most of the camp.
