As reviewed, forest service rd 4146, but not quite as far in as the last poster, but a flatter spot. Open and close gate, be aware of the rain forecast cause it could get muddy. Road was a little rutted to this point. Above the posters' location just below the creek you see on the map, the road gets pretty rough. Great for the night
Got no T-Mobile
Wild camping, secluded, must go through bob-wired gate that has small sign stating “please close gate”. Camp site 1/4 mile off Highway 46 once through gate. National Forest sign is posted roughly 20’ inside closed gate. Easy to think you cannot enter because of closed gate, but you can. 2 Wheel drive ok, but need to go slow. About 45 min. East of Moab. Grateful for seclusion and good nights rest. Sunrise is beautiful!
Report Check-InWe stayed here I night. Go thru the closed gate and close it begind you. A few spots off the dirt road. We are in a promaster and drove sloe, but no issues. We went about Quarter mile to a semi level spot. Verizon 4G 1 to 2 bars in our spot.
Report Check-Inpicture of location where we stayed. many other sites along the loop in NF
Report Check-InAmazing quiet spot! Breathtaking night sky and sunset! Be aware the entrance has a gate. we did not realize this until weft camp this morning. make sure you close the gate behind you. there is another entrance on the left right before private property. we entered there and went 3/4 around the loop and set up camp. need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make that. the main entrance is passable by 2 wheel but would be tricky. was clean pack in pack out and has zero facilities. but we didn't see a soul it was great!
Report Check-InNice and quite. Found this after getting kicked off two BLM lands during COVID-19. 45 minutes to Moab.
