Tried coming here. Sadly weight limit on the south approach and unsuitable road layout ended that plan.

Good State Park close to the Canadian border. There is a total of 85 campsites so you can find one that works best for you. 26 are full hook-up, some are paved, other are gravel, lots of “primitive” spots and some walk-in sites as well. Price is now $30, $35 or $40. First come First serve from October to March.
Showers are now FREE and very hot with good pressure!
Yes, trains pass regularly but don’t blow their horns so it didn’t bother us at all.
There are lots of good hiking and biking trails around and the view of the Bay is beautiful.

If you need a place with a bathroom, picnic table and a dump, this place works. Trains are running 50 yards away through out the night and mostly in the morning. not very quite.

Nice campground but spots are close to each other. Steep price $ 44.00 plus discovery pass!!

Came on Labor Day Monday night and the crowds had gone. Got a nice, deeply shaded and level spot to park the van. Great views of the puget at the nearby park. Hot showers, 25¢ for 3 min. Only reason for the docked star was the price – too expensive for how close together/crowded the sites were, but because the camp wasn’t full it felt ok. $32/night, but a range of prices for spots (guessing the ones with louder train noises are cheaper, but we didn’t hear the train past 10pm). Lots of water taps and very clean bathrooms. Safe spot.

Very nice small state park. Nice beach, good for swimming and relaxing, plenty of parking. Follow signs to the beach. Yes, the showers are clean and the water hot! :)

Report Check-In

Busy campground in a beautiful location. The camp sites are incredibly close to one another. In the summer the area is very, very busy and parking at this place and trailheads is limited.

Road and rail noise. Sign at info says 16 trains per day!
