A good mechanic, very friendly. We had a problem with the clutch pedal, and we couldn't drive anymore. He let us sleep in our motorhome in front of his house without worries. The next day, he had redone almost the same pedal, in metal, perfect! We paid 600bob, a little expensive but good work.

Luis solved our little electric problem (false contact on interior van equipement) for 80BOL in one hour. We came here on the advice of Johnny our previous tour guide. Not very talkative indeed but job well done.

So we came here after being stranded in the middle of uyuni for a week. We needed to fix our ball joints, tie rod end, and axle, fix a radiator leak, and check some other things. We took the advice of the previous overlander to get the price ahead of time and he said he doesn’t cover per hour just per job so we convinced him to give us an estimate and he said 900. We had to kinda stay around and pressure him to work on our car and he did and he did a decent job but then he didn’t do some of the things we asked him that was apart of the estimate. So we paid him and he said to come back the next day and he’d finish the job - we did and he was very talented at avoiding us all day long until right at the very end we caught him and told him to finish it. Ok job but don’t pay him until he’s completed everything he included in the price

Very quick and professional repair but VERY expensive!!! He charged us 1500BOB for 6 hours of work (250BOB/Hour) and 800BOB for the broken part that he exchanged. I guess this is the price you pay with a US plate. Negociate price before he sees your plate if possible!!!

Luis is not very talkative and not very friendly but he works hard. We have a Chevrolet N300, he didn’t know very well this vehicle but he fixed our brakes well, checked the filters and worked 1 hour on the air system and air filter to try to fix a mysterious problem we had, without making us wait. He told us if we still have the problem after visiting the Salar we could come back. Very fair price, honest and serious work.
