We drove from Gweta towards Kubu Island with tracks4africa and it lead us to this amazing wildcamp. The route will give you lots of scratches as there are many bushes and small trees but if you don't care like we do it will lead you to this beautiful Baobab tree, open land and nobody here except for some horses. There are some shoe prints and of course car tracks either from locals or other overlanders ;) had a fantastic quiet night. Beautiful sunrise/sunset and starry sky.

Really nice place. The night was quiet, but in the evening and the morning we saw 3 farmers (friendly, they ask for water) and lots of tourist tour for the baobab. (At 6pm and 7h30am). We felt safe
Report Check-InIt is an amazing place. But in 2h, 5 Touristbusses visited this tree. (in the evening) In the night, people with horses passed, and also music from a village nearby.
Report Check-InVery nice wildcamp. Beautiful and huge baobab. Safe, quiet, alone. Shadow and wind protection with the bush trees around. Perfect free place. We loved it : 5/5.
Report Check-InLovely wild camping spot under a 900 year old Baobab. Just off the road. Provides good shade and very quiet. We stopped on our way from Kubu to Gweta.
