Something not right?

Description

After driving 2.3 km a good gravel road there is on the right open space (dry even if everything else is flooded) next to an cotton field and a little forest. Very quiet (not one car passed), only some frogs and a nice breeze. No infrastructure, OK to pass the night.

Perfect little spot. Beautiful sunrise, undisturbed sleep. Not sure I would come here after a rain since it's sand (the road is gravel).

Report Check-In

Very quiet place compare to Walmart or Cracker Barrel. Be careful with GPS location better take it by the 79.

Good spot. Didn’t see anyone during my time there. Lots of bugs at night. Nice sunrise.

Report Check-In

Overall nice spot. Big clearing - there was no rain, so I parked on the dirt.

There is some sort of operation/construction going on close by because it’s definitely fairly noisy. Also, the lights from 79 break through the trees. (Even at 11pm)

That being said, the dirt road itself hasn’t had one person through since I parked around 8:30pm, so I’m very happy to be off the main drag some.

Report Check-In

Great spot with plenty of space. No rain today, so I parked on the clay.

The road itself didn’t have any traffic, but you can definitely hear some sort of operation/airport down the road and there are car lights from the main road that break through the trees.

Overall, decent space - I’m definitely happy not to be on 79.
