We liked this location better than the spot by the gravel pit. Lots of roads to walk. Pretty quiet. We did notice that there are ticks around so watch your pets and socks.
Don't trust Google Maps on this one, do your own navigation. The road in didn't exist in Google maps but is visible on satellite images.
Verizon 1 to 3 bars depending on orientation.

nice spot. lots of little spots like this on the way in so there's plan B if you need it.
Report Check-InNice spot. Quiet and clean. There are a couple more big spots up the spur road.
Report Check-InNice woodsy spot, some background highway noise but it wasn’t bothersome for us and being so close to 97 was convenient. Lots of pine needles to clear away before you have a fire!! Solid Verizon LTE. GPS took us one way on a rough dirt road, we should’ve looked ahead at the map and seen that we could’ve taken a much smoother and straightforward route in.
Report Check-InGreat spot! A large clearing with room for multiple rigs. There are some roads that require 4wd but there are some easier routes too. Come in from Lava Cast Forest Rd if you don’t have 4wd. No one came by this spot all night, and I only saw one van down the trail on my way out.
