Parked at a pull-off just at the fork in the road before the coordinates to this camp site. The other spot up the road is nice as well, we walked up to it, but tons of mud blocked the entrance. It had rained/snowed a couple days before we arrived. The pull-off we stayed at was not muddy, easily accessible and flat. Great spot to camp. Saw lots of wild horses. Road noise wasn’t too bad. Not a ton of privacy. A couple OHV’s came by but nobody bothered us. Pretty cold night however.
Report Check-InStayed here 4-5 nights. Very quiet except for the occasional gunshot or car/ATV passing by. There’s a group of wild horses that roam around. I met a nice cowboy and got to pet his horse. There’s decent ATT service. Enough shade to stay cool but also sun for solar power. It can be a bit dusty especially if it’s windy. There was a completely unexpected lightning storm one night so be aware of wet or muddy roads (though in this case it just tamped the dirt down and made it less dusty which was nice). My Prius made it in here just fine.
Report Check-InI saw 22 wild horses the week I stayed here - beautiful! Strong Verizon service to work and take video meetings. Easy road in for any vehicle.
Report Check-InNice level spot. Good breeze kept the over 90 temp controlled and blew road dust away. 3 bars Verizon. Backed a 36’ motor home in.
Report Check-Ingood place, nature and quiet.
when you come from phoenix maps told us to leave the road 1 mile before for keep on one gravel road: not good idea. keep on the main road and turn right on the point, there is a open gate and gravel road must easy.
police came for one control on our car around 1/2 a.m.: all good, polite and nice officer.
