Argentina
We asked the lady if we can park in the parking for the night with our motorhome. of course we took a cafe and drinks in her bar. she is really kind and helpful.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The guy in the hostel asked for 5000 $ just to put the car. We tried to say that it's too expensive and he took only 2000$ a month ago but he didn't change the price. We left
Report Check-InParamos a esperar que calme el viento. Pagamos $1000 por dos medialunas horribles y duras. Buen wifi, password: lashorquetas2020 .
Un cartel adentro decía $300 pesos para usar el baño por persona
The parking lot at the hotel on Ruta 40 is absolutely suitable for an overnight stay. 2000 ARS. The building provides good wind shade. Wifi works. Toilets can be used, but are not particularly clean.
Report Check-InGood place in nowhere. Food in the restaurant is ok, but like wine, expensive. Overnighting now costs 2000 pesos in the camper. Wifi works well. Very windy but the house is a good Protection.
Report Check-InI had good coffee here. Nice to get out of the strong and gusty wind.
Report Check-Inwe had to stop here in the afternoon because of wind gusts up to 80 km/h, and stayed on the parking lot for the night. Didn’t need anything, but sat inside in the evening near the cozy fireplace and paid the nice lady for using their internet. we heard another traveler asking about room prices, it is 6.000 pesos for the night.Quiet night, incredible starry sky.
Report Check-InThe hotel is open. Room is 5000 per night. Good food. The host, his wife and little daughter are super nice. Very good stop for cyclists after a windy and cold day on routa 40. Although it looked closed from the road it is open. Just go there and enjoy :)
Report Check-InSuper closed still! Perhaps in a couple of months it will open. The inside looks cute from the window… 3 wall protection from the wind if you’re in a bind!
Report Check-InOpen when visited 4th of March.
Diego is one of the nicest persons I have met during my cycling trip in Patagonia.
He literally saved my life giving me shelter for a couple of days when the wind outside was up to 80 km/h. The hotel was full and he had plenty of work and no place to host, but let me pitch my tent in the dinning room for two days. He charged me nothing. Also let me shower in the rooms when the visitors left.
Rooms are very cozy and beautiful if you want more comfort. Shower is good and very hot. The food is basic but tasty and at good price considering it is in the middle of nothing. Good Wifi.
Please stop by to support his bussiness! He is a bit shy at the beginning but an extremely good person, and his laughter is so contagious! He also knows everything about the surroundings and can provide advise.
Report Check-InExtreem nice host! We felt really welcome.
We parked our campervan in front of the hotel (out of the wind). We took a shower (100 pesos/1,5 euro). There was wifi.
Also possible to have dinner or breakfast. And there is a bar with fireplace.
We wanted to camp there but the wind was crazy so we stayed in a room. The price for the room with a private bathroom is 3000 asp but since there was no water and gas that day we got it much cheaper. They also helped us to find a mechanic in the next city. Wifi is pretty good.
Awesome place, pretty friendly stuff. A great place to rest or for a coffee or hot chocolate. And it has a heater to warm up. Pretty chilly
Big parking space - they allowed us to stay. Toilets in restaurant haven’t a flush.
Really windy at night.
