An RV park in a city park in Brownfield, TX. About 12 sites with electricity and water. Free but accepts donations. No bathrooms on site but flush toilets are located in walking distance in the park. There is a dump station. 5-day limit.

Coleman park is big. It has a disc golf course, picnic areas, basket ball court, skate park, and a playground for kids. There is a pool adjacent to the park - $5 entry.

There is a lot of highway noise and a dog pound near by - but other than that it was quiet during our visit.

I stayed here two nights with no problems. There is a good amount of road noise but it dies down later in the night. This park is pretty big with a really nice pool that wasn’t open. The bathroom by the pool and over by the amphitheater were both closed this time of year. Water and electrical were both on this time of year. Please be respectful of this place and don’t throw garbage on the ground, including cigs. They provide a dumpster for a reason.

City RV park, about half full when we arrived at 1800. Clean a tidy with a minimum of litter. Good place to stop while passing through.

There were a couple of spots left when we arrived around sunset. We took the spot with the bee tree (1A, no stings, no problems, just be cautious and respectful) which was flat so didn’t need the levels. First night in the camper with our 4 month old so we were grateful for the electric hookup (Texas in September is still hot enough to need the AC). Walked around the park at night - pretty quiet even though close to the road. 2-3 bars of Verizon. The next morning we dumped and left our donation - the donation box is right next to the dump station. Please donate to keep this going! Thanks Brownfield!

Gravel lot beside park w electric & water, dump station. This is a FREE stay BUT there is a donation box. PLEASE DONATE TO KEEP PLACES LIKE THIS AVAILABLE. Arrived around 7:00pm only 2 or 3 spots left.

Free for 5 days but donations appreciated. Electric, water, dumpster, dump station. Porta potties in nearby park. There were 6 other RVs there. Felt safe. Nice park to take a walk through with my dog.

We stayed here one night on our drive from Central Texas up to Chama, NM. The campground is in need of a little maintenance, but for a free stay on our way through town, it was perfect.
We rolled in around 6pm and there were 3 other campers there and 2 more pulled in after us. It is right off the road and can be a little noisy. Street racers woke us up at midnight..

Great spot! We pulled in around 9 at night and there were still plenty of spots. 3 other RVs/vans were here also.

small spot with electric and water for free which is really nice but there's not much else around in the small town

Second time here this year. City Campground with water, electricity and dump station. Also good cell service. Reliable place to stay. Pulled in here at 6:00 PM, almost full. We got the last available space. Nice reliable spot. We found a great place to eat, Taqueria Jesus Maria restaurant, just down the street. Really good Mexican food both times we've gone. They also sell frozen tamales to go.

Surprisingly few people here. Good free spot

Free place to sleep and get water + electricity and dump. All washroom buildings in the park are closed for the season, would be nice if they had an port-o-loo or something. 4 other sleepers here, all seem nice and appear to be traveling and not staying long.

We loved this place! We were on our way to Arizona and needed a place to chill out for a few days. It had a park for our baby and a skate park for my husband. It was free with electric and water and a dump. We left a donation
because it is so kind for the city to offer
something like this to travelers. The town is pretty lacking in things to do but the park is great. Tons of places to walk our dog. A park worker came around on our second day there and told us we could stay for 4 more days so as far as we could tell no one was staying longer than that. After reading the mixed reviews I was really nervous to come here but I’m glad we did, it was a great time and we met a few locals that were really nice. As far as free campgrounds go, this one was top notch. Really quiet and all the campers were respectful and kept quiet during our stay. We stayed Monday - Friday. Only thing that would make it better is if they put a bathroom or portapotty out for the campers.

There are several water and electric serviced sites in a gravel parking area. They are set up as pull thru and are adjacent to the dump station. There are bathrooms at the pool but are closed for the season. There were also a few campers that seemed to be well beyond any 5 day limit. We decided not to stay.
