Roadside stop - just before reaching the toilet there is a small gravel road on the right. Take this little path that makes a loop and leads to picnic tables with a few places to park. Only for small rigs example Sprinter 21 feet. All the rest stops should have these nice places to sleep. It's all ready for a sugar shack in a maple forest. Magnificent! Magnifique!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
great free spot for the night. Picnic tables at each spot, clean washrooms, good water, close to traffic but road noise wasn't too bad. Been here a few times and didn't realize the parking spots existed, not that they are a secret, just didn't notice them until I was looking at this app to see where I was going to spend the night
Report Check-InPerfect place to stay after spending the day in Quebec City!
When i arrived at 8pm on a Thursday in September, all the spots were occupied but the one I took!
Can hear the highway (as it is a rest stop), but the sound almost put me to sleep!
Like all other reviews said- awesome spot for a night, almost like a little campsite off the hiwghway with private picnic bench and clean washrooms! Don’t miss the entrance right off the highway before bathrooms! 10/10!
Amazing spot for small campers vans. Picnic benches, bathrooms, private spots, all free!! This is the way to do it.
Report Check-InNice park setting. Large maples. Clean spot. Toilets are clean and look well taken care of. Little noisy because of the hwy. Busy spot. Must be 10-12 vehicles here tonight.
Report Check-InMissed the google maps instructions to go to the next off ramp to head back east so we stayed at the halte routiere on the west bound side. Had a great night!
Report Check-InGreat little spot. Sites are far enough off the road that it’s not super loud. If you take the trail out of one of the sites you’ll find a forest of tapped sugar maples. Very cool!
Report Check-InPretty private area behind the rest stop. Toilet facilities are clean and they have a filtered water machine and some vending machines. Good spot away from the main highway, you can still hear the trucks but it's great for the evening.
Report Check-InNice drive up picnic spots in the woods behind the general parking and rest stop.
Made dinner here but chose to continue on as it was too early to sleep.
Would definitely stay here again if the timing were better.
Report Check-InGreat spot to pull off the highway with clean facilities, picnic tables, garbage/recycling bins etc. I believe there were 6 sites to pull into along the small gravel road behind the washrooms. Quiet night without being disturbed, full service with Rogers, felt safe as a queer couple.
Report Check-InGreat place to stop in for the night. Washrooms were clean and there were lots of other trucks and cars pulled off for the night. Nice spots for cars or smaller campers to camp in the wooded area with a picnic table.
Report Check-InLovely spot!
This is part of the rest area, not a secret spot as the description makes it sound like ;) Spotless washrooms with drinking water fountain are within 50m of every spot.
Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect spot! Backed our 20' Sprinter into a spot beside a picnic table. Very clean and quiet. Excellent little overnight spot!
Report Check-InGood place, found free fire wood,m. Enough place for 2 cars In one parking slot. Goood friend and nice night
Report Check-InIt was perfect for a quick layover on the way. A little highway noise but you get used to it.
C'était parfait pour une mise en route rapide. Un peu de bruit sur l'autoroute mais vous vous y habituez.
Report Check-InGreat spot, lots of options for parking with picnic tables. Bathrooms are very clean. We stayed one night and had no issues.
Report Check-InSmall, clean off route. Only 5 spots for parking which were all taken last night. Someone was parked on the grass, so we did the same. A man f ok the parking followed and put up his tent next to us. The woman in charge of the washrooms and center told us nicely that we weren't allowed to be parked on the grass (we had kind of figured). If you have a dog like us, then the noise spooked him a bit at first. There was lots of frogs and a skunk. Bathrooms were very clean with drinking water available.
Report Check-InGreat little area with overnighting in the back. Make sure to not miss the little gravel road when pulling in. Lots of spots (most with picnic tables) to pull into and spend the night undisturbed, and we were far enough from the traffic noise that it really didn’t bother us in the least. Many spots were occupied by cars when we arrived but we found a spot to tuck ourselves into with our small RV.
Restrooms were spotless and being constantly cleaned and sanitized by an employee on site.
Quebec sure knows how to make great roadside rest areas!
Report Check-InNice place to stay overnight many trucks were here for the night but we were away
Take the small gravel road juste before the toilet building and there is about 5 spots to back up
Class c 25 feet was the max lenght to fit
Not too noisy even if the hyway is near
Report Check-InAmazing for a rest stop. Definitely worth considering if you need somewhere to spend the night. Some houses nearby that the ring sites back onto, but not bad.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. There is road noise but if you park in one of the the ring spots you’re far enough back that you don’t really notice. I had one weird incident where I realised there was a man stood in front of my van in the dark just staring, and eventually I got out to confront him and he was a french Canadian truck driver who apparently just liked the look of my fairy lights, and I didn’t have any other bother after that. Spent a gorgeous morning here making breakfast too on the picnic bench. Would stay again!
Report Check-InStayed one night, fairly quiet for being right on the side of the highway. A few vehicles came through after dark but when I left in the morning there was only one other in back where I stayed. There were several other vans, RVs, pickups that had spent the night parked next to the toilets building. The back area is much nicer, with cleared camping spots and picnic tables.
