Prominent sign saying “Ride share parking only” “no camping” “no overnight occupancy” tons of cars in the lot
Report Check-InThis is a great spot for CARS. State troopers have been in and out knocking on doors and leaving those terrifying orange papers on RV’s, buses, and some vans. All three lots get pretty packed when ski season comes around so they may crack down even more.
Report Check-InCars seem to be okay but vans, buses, and RV’s are all being told to leave by colorado state troopers.
Report Check-Innice place to stay overnight. We couldn't find anything else so we slept here. Lots of other RVs and Vans. Just light highway noice. Store to buy good coffee(large selection) right across the street.
Report Check-InOvernight parking is allowed at all Dinosaur Park-N-Ride lots. This lot is fairly small, but across the street has many more spots in the Wooly Mammoth lot. A few other vans present and one camper rv. There are no trailer spots and not good for semis.
Report Check-InI've parked and camped here in a campervan many times in the last 2 years without any problems. Tonight I pulled up to camp and within 10 mins a State Trooper knocked on the door and told me to leave. He was going around knocking on every van and motor home in the lot. Just FYI.
Report Check-InStayed here three nights during the week. Next to the highway so some noise, but it dies down after dark. I’d recommend the upper area as it is flatter. Several other cars including a few vans here each night. Across the street from a gas station for easy fill-up/a quick bite.
Report Check-InVery nice! Lots of cars to blend in with, highway noise as expected, and some noise from other cars, but otherwise fine. Good for a small rv down to a car. Parked in camper van for the night with no issue.
Report Check-InParked here for one night in the upper, left part of the lot where the level spots are. There's some highway noise as expected due to the location but it's not bad. Totally fine for one night!
Report Check-InIf you drive as far left as possible you'll see the level spots. Fantastic free spot close to Denver - keep it clean y'all! We don't want to lose this one.
Report Check-InNew signs say "No overnight occupancy". Police come thru at night and move people along. Still lots of overnight parking, think they are cracking down on the campers who were trying to set up a homestead in the parking lot.
Report Check-InDecent place to overnight. Stayed multiple times over past few months. Park and ride lot that is big with ski carpooling. Weekends there are often teenage car meet-ups that takeover. Some full time trailers staying there every night dumping lawnmowers and trash recently, real meth head behavior.
Report Check-InNo one bothered me, quiet( other than the highway noise) and uneventful, a good place to spend a night.
Report Check-InSeems to be a parking lot where people car pool to different places. They're were tons of cars here overnight and besides the road noise it was a great place to stay overnight. We stayed here 3 nights during our time passing through Denver. A few other vans here as well and a short bus.
Report Check-InGreat place to park overnight. Can find level parking spots if you go further up to the left after you turn in. Was reasonably quiet considering you're next to the highway. Lots of people staying overnight in campers and cars.
Report Check-InStayed here a couple nights. Drove in around 9 and left around 8am. No issues. Full LTE. Definitely one of the easier options near Denver, still just a carpool lot, good hiking trails though.
Report Check-InThis is just a big parking lot that's used by people carpooling out to the ski areas. Lots of cars left here overnight so I'm assuming it's ok to stay here. It has access to hiking trails but no other amenities or services. Right next to the highway so expect road noise. If this one is full, there's also the Wooly mammoth lot which is even bigger.
