Hostal La Laguna | Informal Campsite

Expensive but worth the money. We were hoping to find a free camp to stay at before the waterfall but had no luck. We stopped in here and even though Ruben was on holiday he welcomed us with open arms. We parked the truck in the field and had access to beautiful bathrooms with hot showers. The hostal has wifi and a restaurant if you’d like, we did not use however. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the waterfall on the property is spectacular! We paid 80,000COP for the night. For a last resort, we were fine paying for a beautiful experience.

The Spanish/Colombian couple that owns the place seems to have put a lot of work in this place over the past years. Very nice Cabanas and rooms starting at high prices around 150kCOP and one epic, secluded Cabana overlooking the canyon [I think for 500kCOP]. Paid 30kCOP for tent camping. Seems like a lot but somewhat worth-it. Huge camping area with gorgeous views and very new, modern, European-style house with hot showers and toilettes. Restaurant and wifi at the main house.
