very nice place to stay. You can choose between shaded and sunny spots depending on what you need. feels very safe, people super friendly, even gave us tips for good food around.

Spent 6 nights here, felt really safe. There’s people walking around the park, kids playing, skating all day until late night (like 2 am), so it’s a bit noisy but not at all a problem for us. There’s a grocery, a church and some restaurants around the park.

We really enjoyed this place, just beside the lavanderia! Quiet during the day and at night as well! Many people walking around, all of them very nice and welcoming!

As everybody already said. A bit busy in the evening but quiets down around ten. We stayed one night.

Best park to camp near El Centro! I stayed for almost 2 weeks and made friends with locals. There's a small festival there every night during the week but its quiet by 10/10:30p, free Zumba-like classes every weeknight, a great place for kids and pets. Local mercado, agua purificada station, lavanderias, grocery stores, a 12 min bike ride to Paseo de Montejo (historic street with landmarks and restaurants, parks and bars). There is a big spot next to the skatepark that has shade all day.

Incredibly safe with constant police patrol and the locals are very welcoming.

Spent 4 nights here, very safe, even slept with the windows open, many people around until 10pm walking, exercise, great for dogs to run around and children swings sets. I also check with a restaurant owner and they were very friendly and said it was good. Had several local people stop and chat with me, people in Merida are very friendly and it’s the safest state in Mexico. Shade from the trees. It’s approx 3 klm walk from the zocalo or take an Uber.
