Description
Campground with plenty of grassy area, cold showers, toilets. It has a small glamping area and some rooms. A safe place for overlanders to park and camp as well as offering a good hearty breakfast that is included in the price. The place is not very leveled. We paid 20kCOP per night.
The owner, Rafael is very nice. We arrived during the season for hormigas culonas and he and his family roasted them and he offered us some. We couldn't refuse! They were surprisingly tasty! stay at this place when passing through Guadalupe and the Gachas.

Such a great place to stay if you want to walk into this very cute town. Raphael the owner is absolutely amazing and is one of the sweetest Colombians we have met so far! Their cow had a baby while we were here which such an amazing thing to see a newborn baby calf! They also provide laundry here (he charged us $20,000 for about 1 liter of clothes) and charged $40,000 for 2 adults. We were only going to stay 2 nights and stayed 4! Highly recommend it here and we would come back!
Report Check-Invery nice place and the owner, Rafael is very helpfull ( there was no wifi because of the storm last week and we can use the wifi at his sisters house to do some work). We had a wonderfull walk to Las Gachas and you are immediatly in the beautifull small village.
Report Check-InRafael has completed the rework of the place with nice and clean bathrooms and showers, large kitchen and sitting area. We were charged 25 kpppn, including electricity and wifi.
Report Check-In2 min walk to town, 20K per person. Clean washrooms, cold showers. There are 4 tents in available under cover, right next to each other. The “grassy area” was a bit of a swamp when we were here, maybe more than usual rain. Fine place, but a bit expensive for what it is. Staying in the lots by Las Gauchas is better in my opinion.
Report Check-InFantastic spot, two blocks to the beautiful church in the center of town, very quiet, lots of green space, mountain views, fast wifi and great bathrooms. Any size rig can fit, there are also tents or rooms to rent and as well. We were charged 40k pesos for two people plus dog and van.
Report Check-InSeñor Rafael is now renewing this place. In spite of the works he let us stay here. Thank you. Don 't forget to bring your socks to las Gachas or las Glorias cause it is very slippery and I broke my arm there.
Report Check-InExcelente ubicación a tan solo unos pocos metros de la plaza central de Guadalupe. Buen espacio para acampar junto al vehículo, tranquilo y seguro. Las instalaciones cuentan con baños muy limpios y también ducha con agua caliente. Son Rafael el dueño, muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Precio de 15,000 pesos x persona x noche. La única desventaja fue que debido a la lluvia, el pasto estaba demasiado encharcado y se formó pantano con las huella del vehículo y también con las pisadas.

Report Check-InFantastic location. Paid 25000 COP pp to sleep in the under cover, pre erected tent area - tent has a proper mattress with pillows and blankets. Breakfast optional for 8000 pp. very close to town where there are a few restaurants if you want them and some small shops. Beautiful plaza and church (2). Hot shower. We were allowed to park our BMW in the under cover area. Highly recommended.

A wonderful camp with all the facilities and a great breakfast if you like. Rafael is adept at google translate and helped us plan a couple of days of activities here. We highly recommend the Gachas - a river with pot holes to swim. The town is pretty and friendly. Plenty of room for big rigs and a lovely view from the camp of the church and palm trees as well as the hills. Excellent WiFi. A lovely warm climate here compared to some of the other villages we have stayed in. There are also tents and a couple of rooms to stay in here if you don’t have your own gear.
