Description

Nice campground near the entrance of Huerquehue National Park. You can put your tent or campervan wherever you want. Plenty of picnic tables around. Warm showers from 9:00 until 10:00 and 19:00 until 21:00. Toilets are OK, not the cleanest.
family camping by the lake 10.000 per person in high season. Also sell provisions, vastly overpriced and with raises during the day (can of Crystal got inflated from 1000 to 1500 in 5 minutes...) and you can rent kayaks (6000 p h) warmish showers with very limited hours. Avoid sites close to the baños (smell) each site has a fire pit and a table, really nice views of the lake (small pier from which you can swim).

Superb setting with trees and lawn on the lakeshore. One of the nicest campgrounds we have seen in Chile. Bathrooms and showers very clean. 24k per night for 2 in a camper. Compared to other campings, definitely worth it!

Report Check-In

Large area slightly downhill towards the lake. Nice lake to jump into after a long day of hiking. Warm water on fixed hours in the morning and afternoon. Fairly clean toilets and showers. Stayed 2 nights and for both the cleanliness depended on the local who came to enjoy the lake with the family. 24000 for 2 persons with a van.

Nice camping with shade for cars and tent. Big rig could do but not in de shade. On the lake side with options to swim or kajak ( for rent). Hot showers morning and night. 4G entel reception.

As mentioned previously an amazing place to stay, so quiet and peaceful. We camped next to the stream (front left near lake) and it is ideal to chill drinks. We also caught a trout at dusk from one of the three pontoons over the lake

Lovely campsite with many chilean families enjoying a swim in the lake.
we paid 10 000 per person including a child of 6 years old.
There is hot shower twice a day for 1 and a half hour each time.
ablution are clean, shame they don't leave a couple of cleaning items so we can clean mud from our shoes after our shower.
there are fire pits and picnic tables all around as well as swings for kids.
the view on the lake is truly lovely.

Name of the campsite is ‘Rapa Nui’. Possible to reach it in our small citycar. Almost deserted but we called ahead and were greeted by our very friendly host, Gabriella. Nice spots next to a beautiful lake, with clean toilets (but no hot water).

I’m guessing this is the Rapa Nui Camping? Nice campground with access to lake. 8,000 for 2 ppl and our van. Bathrooms were ok, a bit far if you camp near the lake, cold showers. No WiFi. Each camp spot has a picnic table near a tree for shade, and a fire pit.

The camping is okay. There are several spots to park next to picnic tables. and there are tap water at the center.
The two highlights of the place are the awfully cute and friendly cats and the view from the lake side. The view is as good as the one from the Parque Nacional Huerquehue of not better.
unfortunately, only one of the toilets was working, there was no light there, and wasn't dirty, but definitely not clean. Also, there were no showers, and I couldn't understand whether temporarily or permanently...

Hot showers from 9:00 until 11:00 and 19:00 until 21:00. Didn't test them though. Toilets are ok, but the locks don't work. We paid 7000 p.p.p.n. in high season.
