We had some issues with our paperwork in Colombia. So we went to the Aduana office in Santa Marta (im not sure if this is the right location), we met a guy named Camillo. At first he looked super friendly and helpfull. He told us that the paperwork issue we had was a big problem (expired TIP because of pandemic). Later that day he started texting with us with insane amounts of money he wanted (3.000.000 fine + 3.000.000 for Aduana + 3.000.00 for DIAN). We got suspicious because of that and asked other people, they told us that dian and aduana should never ask for money. Maybe the fine was correct but the rest was unacceptable. We stopped talking to him and came in contact with other people who helped us. At the end we left Colombia with no fine at all. So be aware of this guy. He works officially for Aduana and we really think he was just trying to scam us.

we went here to get an extension for another 90 days for our camper (after we were at the migracion for 90 more days in passports). lunchbreak 12.00-2.00. we were sent to 4th floor, were a very nice lady wrote a letter for us that we want to stay longer, she made copies of car document, passport and you need soat copy. all was attached and stamped (very important) on the 3rd floor than we had to go to the dian at the port (walking distance). look at our entry there.
