Letitia's place is the only place in town and it's lovely. Rooms are warm (it was our first cold night of the trip cycling here!), there's a fridge freezer, comfortable beds, en suite bath all for R150 per person. The room we were in had a double bed and bunk bed so can sleep 4, but you might struggle a bit for luggage space if there are 4 of you. Letitia is the sweetest!

It's located down a quiet off-road residential street and is on the inside corner of the bend. there's no sign so you just have to trust that you're in the right place. Enter through the small gate if it's late and the main gate is locked. then knock on the door

Highly recommended.
Good price, fast wifi, lovely staff. Good place for resting few nights , if you are cycling i could be the place for it

My stay was awesome. Room is clean and need. Room is ensuite with shower room. It has tv, fridge, coffee, sugar, tea, kettle. A communal kitchen to cook. The owner of the place is very friendly, helpful. Make you feel at home. The building has a rich history. And the rate she charges is a special rate R150 per person for our cyclized. No loadshedding. Wi-Fi is tops. Her Dinner is super delicious and her breakfast. It is affordable. No dogs on the property. It is safe and very quiet. Letitia has a good knowledge of the history of Steinkopf. Hollywood Lodge was the first shop in the 1800, a dancehall for the community and a school for the grade 8. The name Hollywood originated from the 1800 and was named by German missionaries. Her cell number has changed and is 0633103879. She has 8 rooms available.

As everyone said - 300 rand total for the two of us. Really friendly welcome. Rooms are small but we managed to squeeze our bikes in to keep them out the rain. Clean bedding and enough pillows to build a pillow fort. The wifi worked well until a 6 hour power-cut, after which is never turned back on… but that’s South Africa. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it.

Very pleasant place and nice owner. Historic building (200 years old). Only 300 rand for a nice and clean double. You can use the kitchen for cooking.

a very nice place, not to far walk to the supermarket or little store around the corner. kitchen to warm up stuff, if you schedule a head of time dinner is possible 😜..! very helpful owner & staff..

Great family run guesthouse
They have 7 rooms that were full but I was allowed to pitch my tent and I was given a mattress as my camp mat has holes.
Latecia and Eugene were great hosts and you have use of the kitchen.
Bathroom was spotlessly clean with hot shower.
Ring ahead to book as it might be busy.

Now 150 Rand, but totally worth it - such a clean room with hot shower, fridge, coffee, watercooker, toilett and Leticia and her husband are superfriendly! :)

Leticia is incredibly welcoming and I enjoyed the stay and the room oh so much. Updated price! She asks for 190 ZAR now. Worth it? Absolutely!! Loved all of it.

Super nice place. Leticia us just lovely and for 100rand you get a super comfy bed and access to a full kitchen and shower etc. The place has a lovely vibe. Highly recommended!

Leticia was not here (I was told she was in Cape Town) when I was there, so I wasn’t able to stay. There was no hotels or guesthouses open anywhere in this town. Few available were closed and nobody inside. I was able to sleep at a local family’s home.

Absolutely lovely stay, room is perfect, has everything you need, I paid 150 R for one night with dinner and I am telling you I got spoilt with the dinner! Even as a cyclist I couldn‘t finish everything!:D def. worth staying here, treat yourself with a nice bed, wildcamping is really not special along this road

Very cheap single room with fridge, cutlery, kettle, private toilette and kitchen access.
They are really friendly and good people.
The place doesnt have any sign and oficial name, i call Leticia guest House because is the owners name.
