Very nice place, shade beside trees. They opened a rondavel for us. This
was very clean plus hot shower and electricity.
Staff are super friendly, camping is on the grass next to rondavels, you get a key to a rondavel to access a hot shower and toilet. There is WiFi that works well, cost is 8$pp pn. Great spot to break up the drive south after a day in Harare.
Report Check-InAmazingly welcoming, nice and super helpful staff. A great place to stay. They do everything to make you happy and feel at home. At the moment shower only in one of the chalets if one is free. But they are thinking of building a shower for campers. Toilets clean. Place is well looked after. Highly recommended!!!
Report Check-InThis place is highly recommended! Everything is very clean and neat. The dinner was delicious. They served the best chicken we ever had! The staff is very friendly, helpful and obliging.
Report Check-InLovely surprise to have a clean campsite and friendly hosts that do not want to rip you off. WiFi and electricity and peaceful surroundings. lovely place to stay overnight. only 8 US per person.
Report Check-Inbest place ever, very welcoming, nice camping grounds and lovely birds (peacocks and duckies ). a very quite place for campers and good pricing as well (8 USD per night). thank you @ denises kitchen had a great time( very memorable ).
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night on our way from Bulawayo to Mutare. The road from Gweru to Chivhu is brand new and there were no police stopps on the way.
We camped further back next to a chalet which we could use for shower (solar) and toilet. The shower was really hot! We could also plug in our fridge and use WiFi for free. We payed 8 US$ pppn.
You can hear the traffic from the road but as it wasn't much it didn't bother us. You can also have breakfast and dinner. The lodge itself offers different chalets, picnic tables and there is a kids playground. Peacocks and some ducks are roaming around freely.
We had a peaceful night and can recommend this place.

Although we arrived in the rain this was a lovely place to spend the night. No hot shower!! But price is right at $5pp. Wish we could have stayed another night to watch the birds. Unfortunately the road from Gweru to Harare is bad. Narrow with potholes and many big trucks make it intense driving. Would have come back this way if it wasn’t for the road.
Report Check-InNice green Compound with Bungalows and Camping not far from the Main Road. Ablution Block was ready but provided Toilets only. So we also went to one of the Bungalows to take a Shower (no hot Water available at the Moment). Shelter available in Case of Rain. Free and fast Wifi. Very friendly Staff. The Peacocks and other Birds were very loud but it was quite at Night. We also only had to pay 5 USD pppn.
Report Check-InThis is a very very nice place to stay.We paid 7US$ pp and its worth every cent! The Owners are incredible friendly and helpful. The Ablution is not completly working at the moment, so we could stand by one of the beautiful lodges to use the toilet and the shower. There is gras everywhere and lots of peacocks around, but they don´t make much noise. The Wifi is very fast and we had a good signal at our place which was the farthermost from the reception. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very delicious. So , this place is one of the nicest places at our threemonth-journey till now !! We will certainly check in here again, if we ever come back to Zimbabwe!!!!!
