Very nice and friendly place. We feel absolutely safe behind the small town La Manga.
We were here for a few days.

Off the beaten path boondocking spot! It’s a dirt road to get here but very doable for all cars and trucks. Beautiful Mountain View’s and a very secluded beach!

Stayed here for a night on the Easter weekend. Busy but everyone was very friendly, sea is a bit calmer here than on the east side of town, but poor telcel signal.

We Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the location, the mountains are a beautiful back drop and the beach is just over the dunes. It’s an easy road to get in for any vehicle. A few people drove past but no one approached us. Large campsite, would fit several RVs. We felt very safe. No amenities. Telcel phone service cut in and out. Check out the photos to see what you can expect.

super quiet nice spot by beach and mountains. saw wild horses, cows and lots of birds. didnt see many people but those we did cross were friendly.

Great view of mountains and beach is 100 yards from campsite. I stayed 4 nights with no problems. The dirt road was a bit flooded but shallow and my low clearance van made it through. Saw dolphins, pelicans, turkey vultures, lots of wildlife. ATT service was good 2-3 bars. San Carlos is a small tourist town, felt very safe.
