If you are strapped for cash, and since there's no ATMs in town and the next diesel station going north on the highway 1 is 176 miles away, you can pay with card but it's a little complicated. In town, the mercado Xitali can run your card for the Pemex. They charged us 74p on a $700p diesel request. Take the credit card receipt to Pemex to fill up. There's another icon for this market on iOverlander.

Report Check-In

Other Pemex still didn't have diesel. This one did, but you have to pay in cash.
