Seems to haven't opened up after Covid yet, not sure if they plan to reopen. We came here on a Saturday and parked at the Marina instead as the Outpost was closed.

Fred and Victoria are amazing hosts and have a really cool spot. Sits on the Sittee and offers small cabins or guests house with AC, electric and WiFi. Showers, laundry, shared kitchen, and cold beers or sodas available on site. The hosts often make dinner you can buy into for a really good price. The cooked some fantastic blackened snook and jambalaya. We had a small camper and they let us car camp on the property for 25bz/night. Has a nice gate that they lock at night so we also parked our car with them while we went to an island for a week. If you are in Hopkins and need a nice, friendly, clean an affordable place to stay I highly suggest the Green Iguana Outpost! if you have a really large rig or a tall camper you will have to park in the front, but it's still quite and private since the road has minimal traffic.

Really nice and proper place next to the Sittee River! Very friendly and helpful hosts!!! Thanx a lot Victoria and Fred!!! We also were to high for entering, but they also have good options in front of the building but also inside the gate!!! Felt absolutly safe! They also offer great food from 11 to 14 pm! We can highly recommend this place!!!

Very low clearence. Be careful. Couldn't park there (we have à Roadtrek). Nous n'avons pas pu rentrer. Le portail est trop bas. Attention d'avoir une camionnette ou West falia sinon ça ne le fait pas

This little place is awesome. It is immediately at the river where you come to the Andersons Laguna (happy go luckie tours start here).
The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Actually we just wanted to stay one night but we just love it here. They sell their freshly made food for very reasonable prices (10-15blz) and it tastes delicious! They offered us to pay in the end and if we want to drink something to just take and note it.

You can sleep in your car/tent for 10blz pP but you also can rent one of the cabañas for 25blz up to 100blz. You can use kayaks and bicycles for free.

The bathrooms and cabañas are super clean and set up with love.

This is the nicest place we’ve been to so far in Belize.
