Beautiful grassy and quiet camping area with an amazing view. No facilities, but you can use the bathroom at the restaurant and there are water tabs on the side of each cottage, which you can use. Paid 60 R ppn. Access road is really good, tarmac and big rig friendly. When we called the lodge ahead of time to ask whether they had availability, we were told that they didn't offer camping... So we just booked the shuttle to the Sentinel car park (170R pp round trip +100R pp hiking fee). When we arrived at the lodge, however, hey said: "Of course we offer camping." No clue where the confusion came from. But we're glad we spent the night.

You can camp here on gras area without shade but a great view, when its not cloudy. You get a key to a room with hot shower, towels and soap. We paid 120 R p. P.

Lovely place, up in the mountain. We'll managed, very good restaurant.
Community own so you can get a room for a change... Very nice and cozy

Parking in the Witsieshoek Mountain Resort with an amazing view on the Drakensberg. good restaurant. People are very friendly. The track (7 km) from resort to the Sentinel Trail parking is very bad so if you do not want to go by car you can take a shuttle bus or go by walk. We did it + Sentinel Trail by walk (29 km go and back).
