Description

3Kg argentinian "microgarrafa" (small cylinder) refill for 150 ARS. Also refills European cylinders. Can *not* refill Chilean cylinders, but freely gave guidance on where to buy and how to adapt the motorhome to accept the argertinian "microgarrafa".

all the other places couldn't fill our 11 kg bottle. Carlos could! You need an adapter! He filled even our second one, which only was half empty. very helpful Guy. we payed 1400 Peso for 11kg.

The grid is now painted grey.

The owner, Carlos, really knows his stuff. Could not refill our Chilean cylinders, but was most helpful in aiding us to buy the parts and to adapt our motorhome to use a small 3kg Argentinian cylinder, which he then refilled for us. As noted, uses compressed air to speed up the process, so filling an empty 3Kg bottle took less than 3 minutes. In the end, charged us only for the propane (50 ARS/kg) and even refused a 10 ARS tip I offered for his great service. Highly recommended!

note: he is not at the place the whole day as he goes out for deliveries frequently, but he gave us his WhatsApp number and autorized us to share it here on iOverlander: +5493804361880.

The "grill" (atually metal wire mesh) in front is now painted gray; the price is now ARS 150 for 3Kg. The owner Carlos was very helpful knowledgeable and pointed us to where in Downtown we could buy the argentinian "microgarrafa" for him to refill, as well as where to buy the hose and adaptor to connect it to our Chilean gas propane motorhome.

Not a yellow gate now. Big garage looking place with white metal grill, about 5 gates up from Aguila Blanca. I took my own hose and the guy filled 10kg for 400pesos.he pressurised his bottle with compressed air so the process was really quick.
