Mexico
$14 pesos per liter of propane. Ask price before you fill and let them know exactly how much you need to make sure you don’t get ripped off. At the end of preparatoria street, in front of cemetery (panteon). They have Canadian/US fittings.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
She's a thief. Fill up before you reach Loreto, in Santa Rosalía or Ciudad Insurgientes. It's not so much the price per liter, which is similar to what you pay in California, but the amount she says she filled, which will be more than what your tank takes.
Report Check-InOpen Mon-Sun 6am-10pm. Seems like a super clean new facility. Filled our US tank no problem.
Report Check-InBaja Gas Propane is the name. It is not a gaspasa. Suitable for RV fill.
Report Check-InWe asked and were told by a female it was 30 pesos per liter. That is over twice as much as we have paid everywhere else and prices here outside
If tourist areas are much much than places due to er north. We said that was too much and she asked the size of our tank and reached for it (to fill
It). We said we only needed 14 gallons but not for 30 pesos per liter. We said we would go to other station (south of town). She just stood there and we left.
We will visit then one south of town and report that.
Ran out of propane near Mulegé, this was the only place we could fill our tank up (attached to van for fridge/stove), asked for the price and was told it was about $12 pesos per litre. Told them we only had $200 pesos in cash, and he filled it up no problem. Quick fill up and didn't have any issues as other users had reported.
Report Check-InSeemed fair to me. Woman was there. 250 pesos for what i thought would be about 12 litres in my RV. She said is was 19 litres but not likely from my tank gauge.
Report Check-InAs everyone said, would not recommend this place. We ask many times the price per litre or kilo and he never told us… but we had to buy some propane so we had no choice. If you can go somewhere else, go somewhere else we would say
Report Check-InWorst place ever!!!!
He filled up 10 liter of my tank and charged me 500 pesos!
I felt very uncomfortable here. I am travelling solo and he said things like "Hey beautiful" "where is your husband" and "I love you"
If you don't want to get ripped off and harrased go somewhere else.
Report Check-InUnbelievably ridiculous exchange rate. $15 pesos to $1 US dollar. That’s the worst we’ve seen in Mexico yet. Either come with pesos or go someplace else! Cash only!
Report Check-InGreat service and friendly. He took the can of propane out of my car ( was heavy) and let me use the bathroom then filled it up. My big propane tank was 390 pesos
Report Check-In$12.36 per liter of propane. Tried to charge my gringo husband $70 pesos for our half empty 5 liter tank and wouldn’t give him the per liter price or stop filling it when he told her he didn’t want to pay that because it was too much. I (Mexican) spoke to her and finally got her to do only 40 pesos worth of propane so we aren’t sure if the tank was actually filled or not. She said she couldn’t tell when it was full and would only charge per liter. Not a good experience. We think she was trying to rip us off at first. Definitely arrive knowing exactly how many liters you need and ask the price per liter before handing them the tank.
Report Check-In15,97 pesos per liter, be careful!! the woman of the place tried to charge us 100 pesos more, you have to do the maths!
Report Check-InEasy and accessible place to fill pop up camper tanks. Facility is located on a small corner lot.
Report Check-InThey have US and Canadian fittings and they are open every day from 6 a.m. according to the worker I spoke to today. Happy with the service! 205 to fill up a 20 gallon tank.
Report Check-InAt the end of preparatoria street, in front of cemetery (panteon).
20 L/ 280 pesos
