Senegal
Friendly staff that can speak English (most of them), clean and comfortable enough. It was the cheapest price I found in Dakar: 6000cfa/night in a 4-beds dorm with ensuite bathroom and shower.
Wifi is not the best but it works. There is also a restaurant serving cheap local food, drinks and some groceries if you'd like to cook yourself. I had a vegetarian yassa for 1000cfa and a coke for 300cfa.

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A total failure, they said they gonna send a cab to the airport to pick me up, it wasn’t there (they never said anything about it when I arrived). When I arrived they first did not want to let me in because they forgot to prepare my room. Then my room was windowless. Finally when I wanted to leave at 7 in the morning the nightportier didn't want to let me out. He let me out finally. I went there too because it's the cheapest place in Dakar, but if you are able to spend some more money do it, its really not a good place.
Report Check-InBe careful while staying in this place, I got stolen multiple items. I suspect staff going through my bag in the luggage area. Next time, I would avoid that place.
Report Check-InArrived only to have all our luggage thourgly searched, as in they used a metal detector scanner and proceeded to take out our our clothes and look through everything. No table, all your stuff goes on the floor. Then they found our knife (yes, we've been camping in Africa for 4 months) and took that, so I asked what do I do when I want to chop a salad? "you come back to reception". After 15min of going through this luggage inspection (and not done yet!), I said enough is enough, this is just strange and we left.
