Sage brush camping near rail tracks. Nothing else near by but about a mile from 395 so no highway noise. Small pullout off a two track road

Right next to railroad tracks. Thought it would be a rough night with lots of trains but there were only two. The brush is a little overgrown but I made it in with a truck camper.
Report Check-Inbeautiful place to stay...even for more than one night. super clean restrooms, trash cans and nice firepits.
Report Check-InHonestly surprised it’s completely empty on Memorial Day weekend. Cleanest restrooms and public use camping area I’ve ever seen. (I’ve been on the road for 3.5 years)
3 bars Verizon LTE
2 bars AT&T LTE
Highly recommend
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. No picnic tables or anything but good LTE service. The turn off on laver crossing is small so go slow or you might miss it.
Report Check-InGot stuck! There isn’t picnic tables or toilets like the one comment says. Go to fort sage or one of the other camp sites up the road. If you miss the only clear spot you can’t turn around easily and the sand is really bad. I was a RWD van. I spent the night and there was no highway noise. Used NorCal 4x4 recovery Facebook group to get out.

Report Check-InThis was a road trip stop for the night. ATV area and there is designated free camping with levelish spots. Vault toilets and picnic areas as well. brush kept the wind at bay but we only had a strong breeze that Late December night. Easy to get to and a couple miles off the main highway so the only noise we heard were the coyotes.
