Free dispersed camping in the Citrus WMA. Wooded sandy area that's not swamp.

This is a gorgeous, peaceful and quiet spot under the live oaks and pines! No amenities of any kind, but open feel on the sandy dry soil. Not suitable for RVs or big or tall rigs as there are many low overhanging branches. Lots of different spots to pull over at. If you're staying around the "main" trails, any car can get there, otherwise a bit of clearance could be helpful. Good cell service.
Report Check-InOne of our favorite places to stay cause no one really knows about it, hardly ever anyone else there.
Report Check-InWooded sandy area in WMA. Many places along the trails here that one could camp. Seems quiet, a few 4*4’s testing their skills.
Report Check-InNice place but the road is very rough going in. High clearance needed and 4x4 would be good if it is wet. We camped at one of several pullouts along the road because it got to rough for our 4x4 F350 and camper
