Description

Very nice spot on main beach of Maruata. Room for 5 small RV and many tents under palapa. Power, source of water. Must dump in toilets.
Lety and her family are real good host and very helpful. Price in 2023 is 80 pesos pp incl. power. Fishing is very good and Chon, owner, can guide you. We loved the scenery. 3 bays and beaches totally different. Rocks with hundreds of fishing birds just in front. Turtles come here to nest in season. We saw many tracks and nests. Highly recommended.

Latest Check-Ins

Amazing beaches here, the turtles are everywhere this time of the year. You can see the laying eggs process all over the beach. It was pretty crowded in the weekend, we just looked for 1 of the Palapa's that was empty and camped there. We paid 80 Pesos per person. Toilets are not great at all, shower was fine.

The people in town are friendly, no one bothered us or our stuff around the tent and motorcycles. Make sure if you are staying here at the beach that you cross the little river and walk to the other beaches with the coves. They are really beautiful to see and to enjoy the sunset with a beer :)

Downside there is no cellphone reception at all.

Report Check-In

No more space for RV. Tent only. A van could park in the owner parking but no shade.

Report Check-In

It's only a place for tents or small cars. The palapas are about 2 m high.

Im almost afraid to leave a review because I want there to be space for us when we return! But also think Lety and Chon deserve the business so If you are looking for no frills camping in the most magical cove in Mexico with the most amazing family then this place is for you. We didn’t expect much and ended up staying a week- would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t have to get to Zihuatenejo to pick up a friend. If Lety’s doesn’t have space for your rig (tons of tent space though) then another place on that street will - everyone in that town is delightful - just ask!
