Great little pull off! Had one other van stay the night here. Super awesome view and definitely gets quiet as soon as the sun goes down.

Report Check-In

Confirmed with the locals that over-nighting is not allowed anywhere on PCH, but we tried this spot anyway and had no issues in our van. Pulled in to watch a beautiful sunset and left around 7am. One other bus joined later in the night, and they didn't seem to have issues either. Beautiful overlook waking up to the ocean.

Report Check-In

Greats views, one other van when we were here . Quiet at night

Report Check-In

large pull out with space for several vehicles. mostly flat. beautiful views of the ocean. no fire pits. traffic died down at night and I was able to enjoy some spectacular star gazing with the sound of waves crashing in the background

Report Check-In

Super place pour admirer le coucher de soleil.
Tranquille malgré le traffic

Report Check-In

Great spot, quiet after 10p or so, traffic started up again about 7:30a and we were in fog the entire time. Didn’t get the knock and the area is very safe, but I’d suggest pulling in at dark and out early to avoid attention. Would stay again. Please also don’t leave any trash or use the area as a restroom—cops are patrolling more and kicking overnighters out because of this.

Nice Place to stay overnight. Some other campers joint us. Nice view and @night no traffic. No AT&T.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night in our big rig. One other rig joined us. It was such a beautiful spot!!!! Great view of the stars and the ocean.

Report Check-In

Did not work for my cop asked me to leave but he was nice about it

Report Check-In

great spot. awesome views. very quiet once it got late. perfect spot for a van or an rv

Report Check-In

Car camping is illegal on highway 1. However, we were able to stay here one night no issues. We camp in after dark and left before sunrise. 4 cars total stayed here on a busy MLK weekend. It was a perfect pull out. Plenty of room and no lights from passing cars. There are a lot of potential spots, but this one is the best in the area in my opinion.

Report Check-In

Nice and big pull off on the 1 in Big Sur. It almost looks like a parking lot, 5+ vehicles could fit there nicely. At night the traffic died down and we could barely hear anything. It overlooks the ocean with mountains behind it. You can hear the waves crash all night! We parked there one night in our 21ft. Sunrader and had no problems. No cell service.
