Clean hotel with basic facilities in the room, running shower (cold) and western toilet. Room is very big and had a fan as well. costs 15000 tsch

15,000tsh. You get what you pay for. Not expensive but very basic. Lacking running water in bathroom, therefore showers and toilet flushing all via bucket. Bed rather uncomfortable but fan in good working order. Friendly staff.
There's another hotel "Cate Hotel" that looked much nicer along main road (across from point Food Vendors in ioverlander) but we did not stop to find out price. Might be worth stopping here en route as they also had a restaurant.
Paid TZS15k. Nice & clean room. This place is about 300m from the main road. When it rains the dirt road became very muddy. The owner, Rohdah is very nice. She helped walking my bags while I'm struggling with my bike to reach the main road.
