great campground with a beautiful view on the lake. Must reserve online. free showers + dump station on site. accept dogs on leash
Report Check-InGreat campground. Site far apart. Level. No one on one side of me. Quiet and peaceful. Electric and water at site. First time i ever saw a site racked. Ill be back.
Report Check-InReally great campground. sites are very spread out, well maintained with a grill / firepit, and a covered picnic table on a concrete slab. Sites are very flat and mostly level. You can SEE other campers due to the low desert vegetation, but otherwise don't hear them. views of the water and mountains are great. Also saw some interesting quail, lizards and a bunny rabbit!
Report Check-InGreat RV campground, very spacious. All sites are electric & water for $14 + $4 reservation fee. You must reserve online currently, we drove through and checked it out before committing. parked and then reserved. 🤷🏼♀️
Showers are hot, running water bathrooms, and cell service Verizon 4 bars.
🐕Lots of Mexican grey wolves in the area, please keep your pets leashed/tethered. We talked with a couple who lost their dog a few years ago.
Report Check-InGood place to stay. Nice area. The registration is confusing! You have spots first come first serve and some with reservation (those one are the best). You don’t have any spots without electricity so it’s 14$ anyway. (You have some primitive camp down the road for $8).
You can book online on the ReserveAmerica website.
Warm shower available for free( fairly clean).
Seems all the campground sites have water and electricity hook ups, along with a grill and a covered picnic table on a cement slab. Though there are many campsites, they aren’t on top of each other, and it was very quiet.
The water is very low, so the boat ramp is closed.
Beautiful first come first served campground with a few reservation loops. Warm free showers even in January! Beautiful views and coyotes singing at night!
Report Check-InNew Mexico State Park campground. $10/night no hookups, $14 with water & electricity. Showers. When e Elephant Butte Lake is high, campground is popular with boaters and fisherfolk. However, at 2018 levels lake is to the S. Sites on bluff above lake bed, one 12 mile dirt bike trail at site. Good place to sleep if travelling I25 & you want a shower.
