Description

Two small pools out door in the wild. Upper pool is body temp. Lower a tad cooler. Small cave where springs feed from are a tad warmer than pools but cave is unshored so may collapse in time. Clothing is optional according to state site. Was here on a Saturday morning in mid December and nobody was here. Outdoor temp was 28°. springs felt refreshing. There is a designated parking lot and trail. After you cross the bridge springs are up and to the left of the natural valley. Look for large rocks. Hike is pretty short around a mile. View is pretty nice. If you look in my photo my grey van (parked normally) is just visible behind dead tree just to give you an idea where springs are at. No facilities so please bring biodegradable toilet paper or just regular TP just don’t use socks like some others have done in this area.

Latest Check-Ins

Springs are cooling and clothing is now required. Likely because this is a very popular spot and was almost full on a Monday in May. Unfortunately the spring was surrounded with trash and dirty diapers (including one left by the side of the spring where you climb in) when we arrived. Pack it out!

Less than half a mile to get there I believe. Trail will take you right to it. The upper pool was warmer for me. Very relaxing!
