Great place, nice Hotsprings, but the ducks and goldfish were the best! At dusk thousands of starlings, flock after flock, came roaring down from the sky to roost in the reeds. As it got dark, everything went silent.
1 other camper, but really nobody around, lots of room to disperse. Spotty to decent cell service depending on which little mound you park.

Spent one night out here. Was cold at night! There is a group of ATV motorcyclists from California that have an annual trip here for a week. We coincided with them. Big group, definitely partied at night - set off fireworks. But went over the the springs in the morning and they were all pretty friendly. I agree with most folks that im guessing its pretty quiet during the week days, very in the middle of nowhere. (Except for the ghost town nearby! Check it out!)
The springs themselves were very well taken care of, bathroom was fine.

NO Camping right next to the Hot Well (they are in the process of putting up barriers to prevent it), but plenty of dispersed camping around it

We are full-timers and have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We stayed for two nights here in mid May to enjoy the spring. This is a nice comfortably hot spring with no odor and two stage lake with Coots and lots of little fish. Unfortunately, there is a new sign (the old one was shot up) that reads “This facility will be closed and filled in if the vandalism and killing of wildlife continues”. Some people are just bent on ruining things for everyone else. There were only a couple other people here during our stay. There is absolutely no light pollution here, so the skies when clear are awesome, as was the view of the snow capped White Mountains to the West. We had zero AT&T service. Starlink had speeds up to 8 MB/s and we had DISH coverage on all of the western satellites. We didn’t try any OTA channels with our fixed omni antenna.

As reported, lots of space for camping. When I was here, there were 4 other campers. It was serene. The tub made for a perfect early morning soak.

Tub is covered in slippery algae so use caution, get in and out slowly. Water had no smell (low sulfur content).

2 notices. 1) strongly reccomend you arrive in daylight. it is pitch black out here and difficult to see the pullout and informal roads to various sites. I happened to get one along the main loop, but there's also man made fire pits that could do damage if you ran over them because you couldn't see.

2) As others have said, if you have a large vehicle just enter from dyers/NV-375. it's really not worth it from the other side. Coming from Tonopah, going around the long way only costs you extra 10 miles. But you'll get to use a flat, easy road. It is washboarded so perhaps uncomfortable to drive but it's an easy drive for any vehicle. Coming the other way is a rutted and sandy road that you could easily get stuck on.

No cell service here but I had 5G up until the last 1.5 miles of road.

One of the most unique hot springs surrounds by mountains and gold fish in the adjacent cool pond. A great place for a few days for sure.

Great views nice hot spring warm pond Garbage cans and toilet NO CELL SERVICE road getting in was washboard for the 7 miles easy for any size rig. Saw wild horses in the distance

Hot springs seem nice, but there were three big groups camped right next to the tub and essentially monopolizing the springs. Seems to be popular with OHV people and those who run generators non-stop all day. Might be quieter mid-week.

A little bumpy in the 7 mile dirt road getting there, but the snowy mountains and the very warm pool are incredible. Put toilet was fairly clean and no trash on the ground. Better than expected.

Awesome place out in the middle of nowhere.
Hot spring was contained in a small not very deep sitting pool and was quite toasty.
The dirt road in and out was pretty heavily washboarded but my 2wd drive handled it just fine.
Plenty of space to park pretty much anything you are willing to drive down. Larger vehicles should consider coming in from the Dyer side.

Beautiful drive in and lots of room to camp. This whole area is in sage brush so there is no privacy, but beautiful views of the Sierras. The spring is hot and seems pretty clean with new water being pumped in as the tub over flows into an adjacent pond. Be prepared to share the spring with others. Seems like a well known spot among travelers and locals.

Camped at the hot spring. Bathrooms were closed due to Covid and trash services had been stopped so pack it in and pack it out. Hot Spring is very slimy and slippery but the water is nice. Good bird viewing around the springs.

Report Check-In

Great place to boondock. No hookups but there are trash cans and a pit toilet.
The place is maintained by the county.
The concrete pool is between 3 and 4 feet deep. The county maintenance guy said the super clear water comes out at 102° and 110 gallons per minute. It overflows into a pond with several ducks.
The surrounding area is great for off-road vehicles.
There are no signs that limit the length of stay.
Be sure to come in from NV Hwy 264. The dirt road is about 6 miles long and is fairly decent.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot beside the hot spring. Concrete pool area with low block wall for sitting. Clothing optional so prudes can camp elsewhere.
