Nice and quiet sleeping place! We slept here 2 nights without problems. Little space in the forest next to the street. Restaurants and restrooms 5 minutes away in Packwood.

Fine just to spend night, people leave trash. Verizon 2 bars, works good
Report Check-InStayed one night in one of the pullouts at the beginning of the road. Very quiet at night and had no issues
Report Check-InThis was an excellent spot to stay the night. I went beyond the first few plots, past 3-4 residences, and past a ‘no fireworks’ sign. Right past that sign, up an incline, is a large pull off on the left. Great spot. I only saw 3 vehicles while being there for 14 hours, two in the evening, one in the morning. Very quiet.
Report Check-InFor me this was perfect: two pullouts, each just large enough for my 20’ Sprinter (might fit something a little longer but not much), in the first eight of a mile or so off HWY 12 on a forest road. There are a few private residences further in and so the road sees a bit of traffic but not much, and after dark 12 quiets down significantly. 2-3 bars VZN LTE.
Report Check-InI stayed a night at the second pull out on the right. Really good Verizon service. Not far from Mt. Rainier.
Report Check-InStayed a couple nights here in my van. I’m a solo female traveler and felt very safe. Be sure to park past the bridge, as before that the road is connected to peoples homes. They seemed nice, but expressed that they would prefer if you drove up past the properties. It’s not far from the coordinates given here, only a few hundred feet. I didn’t have time to explore but this road goes on for a while so there are probably quite a few options. Just in the couple hundred feet I drove there were 5 pullouts. All of the pullouts I drove past and the one I used was on a slope.
Report Check-Innice pullout on dirt road next to the main road. some noise from main road and a few cars that come through at night. continue on this road and you can find more heavily wooded areas, good for camping with shade. but watch out for the bugs!!
