Nicaragua
Water park, cabanas, hotel, and safe gated enclosed parking lot. Run by a very nice family with a sweet daughter who loves helping set up tents.
They let me tent camp in the yard and park my motorcycle overnight for free with ludicrously cheap admission to the water park (50/adult, 30?/child).
HUGE parking lot can fit any rig. Restrooms are ok. Outdoor cold shower. Swimming pools! Honestly can't remember if they had internet or not, since I didn't ask.
The father watched TV until about 11pm, so if you're a light sleeper I'd recommend camping on the other end of the parking lot, away from the main building.
By far the cheapest camping option near the Gausaule border crossing!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
For one night its Ok. We camp here with our big rig, huge parking lot. But thats all. Feels kind of safe and the night was quiet.
Report Check-InWe spent here night before the border crossing. Secure parking, but don't leave anything outside the car as there are lot of animals. Price still 10$/2pppn. Dirty toilets, flooded floor at women.I think there are only outside showers. But clean and pleasant swimming pool and cold beer. You can charge your phone in the "restaurant". No WiFi during our stay.
Report Check-InCame here CYCLING. 10USD or 370 cord for 2 for 1 night.
As described.
We could use the kitchen.
If you are lucky enough, you'll meet Alberto. He'll do a 3h monologue about how good it is to be a christian and that you should be one too.
$10 US for 1 night 2 people. electricity available. several roosters will wake you up nice and early. several chickens, horses and dogs allowed to circulate where ever they like. toilets and shower dirty. cold shower. swimming pool available somewhat clean. ok for 1 night. friendly people. minimal english.
Report Check-InAn update: cost here is 10$ us dollars per vehicle for a night.
they have electricity.
Couldnt enter to the place because the guard man was too drunk that never found the keys to open the main doors so the person of the house next to This place allowed me stay in bus property, his name is Kevin and has a big flat area around his house, it’s next to the road however as its private is very safe. He gave water to take a shower when it got dark, very nice person
You can negotiate the price to camp here With him, Im pretty sure that it will be inexpensive
We almost missed it, the sign faded so faded. No shade but plenty of space. Outdoor showers and bathrooms, that's it for 200 C. Friendly, quiet and safe
Report Check-InExcellent place to spend the night before or after the border which is only 8 minutes away. It is more of a small pool than a waterpark, but perfect to cool off. Lots of farm animals around. Parking lot can hold any size rig. No size or height restrictions. Parked here in a 25" Class C. Paid $5US and 50 C. for the pool use.
Report Check-InNice spot, 3km after the border. We paid just 5US$ for the two of us for a night camping.
We’re cycling and it took us 2,5hour at the border to get everything organized. This was a great spot to go when it was nearly dark.
The truckstop just 500m away has good meals.
Report Check-InGood place to stay for the night before the border or after. Big sign on road that is yellow and says Parquero. We parked over by the barnyard since we are traveling with 4 dogs. Not bad really. Paid $6 USD, no wi-fi , did not check bathrooms as we are in an RV. Closed gate at night
