They wanted from us 500 INR and did not let us through, even if we said we have no cash. A guy took my husband on a bike to the next ATM. At the end the whole story cost us 650 INR.
Report Check-InThey are going to try to scam you. They asked us for 350 rupees, we told them we didn't have cash and our cards didn't work. After insisting a little they finally opened the barrier for us

Report Check-Inupdate! double the price was justified because we did not have a thing called Fastag which is mandatory now. but we drove through about 4-5 toll plazas where they asked triple the amount (we always paid the amount on the billboard before the plaza, never double) until they explained the fastag system. We bought the fastag then near one of the toll plazas for 400 (apparently it has some amount already as a deposit but we have no idea how much yet)
Report Check-Inthey try to scam you if you don't stand your ground. they asked 160 in the beginning, then a 100 and we gave them 50, saying how we know that they try to rip off tourists that comes through here. Then it started moving. but they were not willing to give any receipt.

Report Check-InThey wanted more money from us. After we asked for a receipt they still wanted half price but still no receipt. After we asked for a receipt again, they let us drive without paying.
