Latest Check-Ins

Unmarked spur roads. Easy to miss. Surprising amount of people given the remote location. No TMobile. Basic BLM camp with concrete tables and fire rings.

Report Check-In

Great spot, road from US95 is better than OR205 but I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid it if I were coming from fields, as I was, washboard is annoying but really isn’t the end of the world if you’re in a truck. I can imagine it would be annoying if towing though. Good cell service too.

Report Check-In

This is imho one of the best Hotsprings around, great temp, quiet, dark and peaceful! Some sites get a bit muddy, but most have clean gravel, table and firepits. Full cell service.

Report Check-In

Still as cool as ever. Improves since I was here in 2017, sites are leveled and there are metal fire rings.
Road from 95 was better, some washboard.

pack it in, pack it out. I don't see a bit of trash here!

Nice free clean BLMcamping Driving a Tahoe and all terrains- the road was not bad. Little washboard. Just drive slow, or really fast. But slow down going around the mountain and the ranch. Dead rattler at our campsite. Hella mosquitoes. Bring your bug spray
Hot springs were nice. A little slimy. Saw a little water snake in the warm spring. Only a few other people but far away from camp. Could hear the creek trickling behind us and the big rock provided nice shade to the rising sun in the morning. Bring firewood or coals. Scavenging for kindling is easy but not wood.

Get ready for the drive in and out. But as far as dirt roads go this one was in great shape. Some areas you can go pretty fast, but coming around the hill go slow. And the last 2 miles it gets a little more washboardy.
This is desert and you’re camping. Be mindful of wildlife and cattle. There was a dead snake tossed in the brush at our camp. And another tiny water snake in the cooler hot spring. There were 3 other campers out there. Everyone was quiet. The spot in the back by the rock hillside provides great shade in the morning. Did not go in the bathroom (vaulted toilets creep me out)
This was a nice free secluded camp with a hotspring! But bring your bug spray they are thick out there

The road in is BRUTAL. I took a 23 foot travel trailer. Spent 2 days repairing the damage. Once I got there it was good. 5 or so campsites. pit toilet. I had 3 bars of boosted Verizon. no bars of Tmobile. It was end of July. very hot. 2 days, just me and the cows. Hot springs are nice. one around 106 the other around 96.

Report Check-In

Still the same, middle of nowhere, primitive and the hot spring still feels just as good to sit in.

Report Check-In

26 miles of dirt and gravel washboard road which can be brutal if your car doesn't handle it well but once you get there it's awesome. Lot of campsites and beautiful natural hot spring. the toilet was decently clean for being as far out as it is.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, HUGE desert, grasslands in BLM land. It’s a little busy. I stayed here a week and was only alone maybe once or twice for a couple hours each. It’s really nice there is a pit toilet.

Report Check-In

Well, unfortunately someone has brought in the red mites. This place used to be so special. Such a bummer. I’ve been coming here since a kid, and with all the crowds and stupid people leaving trash and making fires right next to water it’s no wonder.

Report Check-In

beautiful place, big views and very quiet. the road in from highway 205 was a very good gravel road, doable by normal passenger cars. pit toilet, picnic tables and fire rings.

Report Check-In

The only thing I’ll add is that this place is sometimes called White horse Hot Springs. There was good Verizon service here

Report Check-In

Has a great experience here. Lots of spots close to the springs. Had nearly perfect Verizon signal but no AT&T. Most of the drive from Fields was very bumpy (wash boards) but the last 8 miles or so had just been graded.

Report Check-In

Very remote location. Campground is built around the springs. This is BLM land and there is a sign on the way in that says 14 day maximum stay. The gravel road is maintained petty well but was washboardy most of the way, they do grade sometimes, so you may get lucky. The last bit is dirt and may get muddy after rain. There are a number of more private sites with picnic tables, or just a big parking lot that can fit many RVs or cars. Basic toilet on site (I think vault, but I didn't use it) but no other facilities. Dry camping only. I got good service with Verizon, but nothing with AT&T.

Report Check-In

Perfect, decently remote hot springs with comfortable campsites and a toilet. Road conditions were not bad at all, and most passenger vehicles could make it easily.

It’s a long ways of breaking bumps dirt road,be prepared to drive slow for an hour or more off the main drag! I came from the 95 , left via 205. Both roads took a bit over an hour . Outside temp was only 35’ out : Hot spring could have been hotter ! Mid November on a weekend, it was too crowded for my taste. Bathrooms were clean , campsites also clean . COVID open

Report Check-In

Take the Fork in the road south of the main road (just before or after the rock formation mountain). No signs! One hot and one tepid pool. Bathroom and trash pickup are closed due to Covid. 3 bar cell service.

Wow - a perfect place to camp in the desert with nice Hot Spring with 2 Pools beside (103°F and 86°F). 3 picnic tables and a pic toilet are available. Quiet, very remote and peaceful. Access is on good gravel Whitehorse Ranch Road 29 miles from the west or 21 miles from the east and then 2.5 washboardy miles on a small track which is ok for every car. Big surprise: there is cell phone service!

Report Check-In

Indeed a beautiful place to soak and camp. Two pools with clear water but only one is hot enough for soaking - at least in the winter. Very clean pit toilet with paper, picknick table and firering (bring your own wood, there is none around). We had a very cold (below zero) but beautiful quiet night.

Report Check-In

Nice secluded small campground with 3-4 campsites in a beautiful location. Two of somewhat developed hot springs basins. Water is very clean! Perfect for evening soak & stargazing. Dusty gravel road leads there from the highway. Clean toilet, fire rings, picnic tables available, no water, except from the hot spring for bucket shower.
