Beautiful location! Free and wasn’t busy. There was one other camper, in a big rig. Bathrooms were currently closed and locked for the off-season. Road was washboard and a little bit washed out, but still manageable with a minivan.

very beautiful camping area with vault toilets. we stayed one night on our way south and it was very peaceful! verizon was 2 bars.

BML, beautiful and salvage. Stay for one night, all quiet, found great spot 5 minutes from the entrance with fire pit.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, quiet, windy, sunny. The pit toilets are locked at least on the north side of the camp area. Beware of soft sand. Walk down to the water and check out the sand and places others have obviously gotten stuck and needed to be towed out. It’s sad that so much water has been diverted from the lake that the level has dropped so far and has become unable to support the fish that where here long before non-native people showed up and screwed up the natural environment. The cherry on top is the worlds largest ammunition depot on the south side of the lake- so you know the water level will never be restored.
Despite my sentiment about this place, it is worth a multi-day stay. Bring everything you will need. Please take everything you brought.

Free sites. Bathroom is currently locked. No water tap. otherwise just as beautiful as described.

Good spot. Nice views. Fairly quiet. Good cell service.

beautiful breathtaking beach on Ealker Lake with the mountains all around. Te sand is deceptively soft in some places and you will get stuck if not careful. beautiful stars at night. good at&t service.

Report Check-In

You can get to the water. Closer to the lake it is quieter. We had 5 other campers using the place. Nice sandy beach and lots of space to spread out.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot. Lots of room, lots of spots to camp. You can hear the highway a bit but it’s not too bad.

Walker Lake is a beautiful place to boondocks. Lots of open space. But BEWARE of the soft sand closer to the lake. On the day we were there, 4 people got stuck. It’s very deceiving since the sand doesn’t look soft, but it can quickly collapse under your wheels and get you stuck.
Amazing sunrise and sunsets!

Everything is alright. Same as a description for 20 mile beach. Official dispersed camping.

Report Check-In

Beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Didn't hear much road noise. Strong cell reception and clean bathrooms. Saw and heard 4 coyotes nearby but they kept their distance.

Report Check-In

Spectacular views and lots of good spots. Truck traffic is unending on highway nearby. Hard shell units probably won’t hear much. My pop-top was too noisy for my liking.

Report Check-In

Nearly deserted, pit toilet still locked. Awesome spot.

Report Check-In

Sandy. Jeeps ok to the water, RVs may get stuck in soft lurking sand.

Report Check-In

Wide open with lots of places to camp. Did see someone in a truck stuck in the sand down by the lake so be careful where you drive. Was pretty windy and with the storm coming in, bringing 50+ mph gusts, we only stayed one night.

Report Check-In

Killer site. Tons of room. Only one other person here at the moment. Fantastic view. The only note is that the toilet is locked (presumably due to COVID).

Report Check-In

Mostly empty in late November, only one other set of campers. Every spot has a beautiful view of the lake. Strong Verizon signal, one bar of AT&T. Plenty of spots for larger rigs.

Report Check-In

very sandy, except for a couple spots on the main turnout you need 4 wheel drive. it's a nice spot on the lake though.

Report Check-In

Lots of flat spots.
Decent ATT signal.

Lots of flies at sunset in May.

Report Check-In

Still a great place, just what you imagine! Right on the lake, plenty of room, it’s very flat/open so everyone can see everyone but there is so much room for privacy, far enough from the hwy that you don’t tend to notice it
