Report Check-InFriendly staff and everything very relax, we just had to fill out the form and that's it. We were able to pay in Indian rupees (8,500 for two people 30 days). They told us that we could pay in rupees and dollars
Report Check-InEasy process. normally you have to fill in the form online before entering Nepal but... we didn't...
Immigration officer did this for us, you'll need one passport sized picture and $125 (or €125).
Very relax… try to don’t come here Saturday, that it’s the day off
Report Check-Invery relaxed border and can easily miss the buildings as locals don't have to go through immigration. We did visa on arrival for which they required one passport size picture and to fill in the application (they asked if we had filled it in online but we hadn't). the prices as stated before. Could do a passport switch to a completely empty one (without the previous one being expired or full) after some explaining and the guy said that in Nepal I have to carry both of them since it is not allowed to exit and enter with a different passport but it worked out well.
Report Check-InCaution, they only take really shiny good looking Dollar. No rips, not even a millimeter, not folded, no ink, dirt or anything. We almost were not able to enter because they didn't exept half of our Dollars. They also don't exept other currencies. Nepalese or Indian Rupees only if you pay more, because they apparently have to change it to Dollar before bringing it to their bank or want it for their iwn pockets. Don't know. All very strange. There is also no ATM or a way to change money. So be prepared.
