Sites in the Kaibab forest, along forest service road. Camp only in established sites. Lots have fire rings. No bathrooms. I had some 3G reception. Nice Dirt road in.

Spacious sites, more room than most national parks. Beautiful forest. Quiet. Some of the best free camping I’ve run into in 6 months of travel.
Report Check-InStayed at the first spot on this road for several days visiting the park. Only saw a few others during February. Dirt road looks well maintained & only a few minutes from the southern entrance to the park. Highly recommend! TMobile service was spotty.
Report Check-In2nd night here. Each spot is big and set away from the others. Verizon signal was only 1 bar but I managed!!
Report Check-InFound a gravel road off the main dirt one that led to area with a interesting looking fort, and a firepit with some pallets around it. One of the most peaceful places we've stayed. I could see how it could get busy though. Only saw 6 others dispersed amongst the front campsites. Be aware of the wildlife at night, plenty of animal bones. Verizon was touch and go.
Report Check-InNice place. And is 10 minutes to Grand Canyon . We recommend this place.
Report Check-InGreat free camping. Lots of sites. The road was well maintained. Great Verizon signal.
Report Check-InNot even 5 min from park entrance. Pull offs are smooth and easily accessible. No fire pits/fires allowed at this time. Fantastic spot. Leave it better than you found it.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to stay. Road isn't too rough for our van and if you go farther down the road there are some more secluded spots.
Verizon service wasn't very good at our spot, but worth it for some peace and quiet in the woods.
Down about a mile or so from road entrance. Nice area although no campfires allowed at this time, still nice. Seems quiet. Just a few minutes from The Grand Canyon!
Report Check-InPerfect spot. In this time of the year very quiet, no airport noise. Take care some spots are muddy in spring and you can get stuck.
Report Check-InBig area with a lot of spots for RV's between the trees.
Near the Road. A little bit loud because its near the Airport and the Mainroad.
Campfire available.
We stayed at the entrance of the road as there was snow and we didn't want to be stuck. We were absolutely fine with our 37 ft rv, very quiet.
