Nice campground at only 15 minutes from Beale St, in Memphis downtown, it’s a bit old, but quiet and with all you need.
Hidden gem according to locals

Report Check-In

we had 2 good quiet nights here. good place and we felt safe. Good price. Clean showers.

Nice State Park. Not busy in November. 15 minutes from Graceland. 20 minutes from Beale Street. Quiet. Many trees and squirrels. Lady at the Reception was very welcoming and kind. 31$/night 2 services pull thru + dumping station.

Report Check-In

Basic state park. Water and electric, central dump station.
During our visit there were abandoned dogs (pack of 5) that made many folks uncomfortable. Rangers couldn't catch them. Park is in need of maintenance and more security.

Great location, close to downtown. Could use some TLC, but the sites are large, the showers are really hot, and staff we met were friendly. The laundry washer we’re out of service, so we went to the sit and spin laundry on 3rd street about 11 km away. Really nice people, clean and free internet! Thank you Lorenzo! Kroger grocery store a few km from the Laundry.

Well. Great people at the visiter's center. Victor & Julie are so helpful & full of suggestions. The CG is Ok. They are obviously underfunded for maintenance; that said, our site #44 was fine - Good water, electricity. One thing, you get a whiff of sewage depending on the wind direction but it wll disapate. For example, first night stink, second night not a whiff. For $23 over the age of 62, it is worth it. Showers were fine & plenty of hot water. Again, lack of maintenance funding is apparent. Great laundry on 3rd street - Sit & Spin - great folks who run it. Easy to get downtown.

Nice and salle State Park. Quiet place at 28$/day with power and water. We like!

$5 to dump $5 to fill fresh water check in at visitor desk

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. Felt safe. Not too far from Memphis. Quiet. One bar intermittent Verizon signal. Dog-friendly. Shower is hot with good pressure but dirty and in desperate need of a touch-up paint job.

Report Check-In

Somewhat lowland south of Memphis, a stone’s throw from the Mississippi River. Isolated night with few others in the campground. There are bathrooms and showers. The showers are not the cleanest. There are vending machines and trash/ recycle bins. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the warmer months.

Report Check-In

Certainly a good base for visiting Graceland. But...restrooms are looking very tired and there are flooring issues in the shower cubicles. Paid $34 for RV pitch with electric.

Report Check-In

Indeed a very beautiful place and very convenient if you want to visit Graceland/Elvis. Lots of shade (which is a relief in this climate), Table/bench, power and water at every site. Showers and a laundry ($1 per wash, $1 for 45 Min dryer) - Icemaker. Check out:12 noon. 25$/night + Taxes , Seniors get 25% discount, Basic grassy Tent sites available for $11, no infrastructure + no shade! Recommended!

C’est mon premier State Park au Tennessee. Je suis toujours étonné du ratio qualité/prix des sites dans les State Park. À 30 minutes du centre ville de Memphis et 15 minutes de Graceland.

Report Check-In

Quiet park. Great private hot showers. Nice reasonable laundry. $1 each to wash or dry. Friendly hosts and Rangers.
