Here is the passport office for foreigners. Please note that only the following two countries of Europe can extend their visas for another 90 days: citizen of Portugal and the United Kingdom. Not possible for Switzerland.
You can obtain 60 days more by paying 100Rs fee on your 91st day in the country.

Report Check-InIt's true that it's impossible to extend the visa for other countries than Portugal and Pologn (check countries) but you can go on your 91st day in Brasil to any federal police station and pay 100Rs fee for one day and you then have 60 days to leave the country without paying any more fees, only if you overpass those 60 days. We did it in Recife in October 2019
