The spot is close to the road but there only is traffic from time to time. You can also find a parking on the other side of the road and might not be visible then. This was the first spot we found coming from ruta 5. The road leads through beautiful countryside and is quite steep but paved until the top. From there down it’s gravel. The area is also nice for walking the dog/hiking.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Report Check-Innice place. thanks to the high curb, it is not so easy to get off the road, but also suitable for cars without 4x4 but also for large cars such as our 18-ton motorhome.

Report Check-InLower down the road is a flatter spot, we slept there. Just a couple cars passed in the night. Very quiet place to sleep. Good for a night on the way to the border!
Report Check-InWe parked a little below the marked area in another large clear patch as there was a family camping in the spot a little higher. Nice, quiet and safe with good views of the valley. Also, we forgot our camping chair there so if you find it, enjoy.

Report Check-InGreat wild spot! We came late night, tired from Santiago. This spot is out of highway, calm, nice view, lot of space around. Even some firewood there. The road up here is sometimes steep, unpaved. But we did it in our VW Kombi with 55 horsepower so... :-) just do not loose your speed and sou can climb there. From highway it was approx 3 km to the spot.
