Description

one of the highlight of medellin.
we did a tour with this guy. he lives in the place and own a small company with 4guids. you can do english or spanish tours in the morning and afternoon. the photos speak for themself.
the meetingpoint is at the entrance of the metro station San Javier, so very easy to get. just make sure you make contact a day before, so you don't get disapointed.
this tour is funded by your contributions of the people who join, very nice way.
easy way is to send him a mail or text on whatsapp because during the day he gives the tours.

We took Zippy tour, a formal stablished familiar company.
Really enjoyed the walk and the history of comuna 13 transformation.
Andres our guide was very friendly and clear.

Tour through commune 13, super interesting because they tell the history of the commune and how it has become a tourist destination and how that is reflected in the beautiful murals that adorn the commune
The tour starts at the San Javier metro station and ends at this viewpoint.

We loved walking in a Comuna 13. We didn't get a tour, but we right recommend go to Comuna 13 and see all graffitis in a beautiful view and atmosphere.

Excellent graffiti tour, but there are two things to know: 1) There appear to be about 5 different companies running tours at the same time from the same place, so it's easy to accidentally go with a different company's free graffiti walking tour. They typically each have their own color vests and umbrellas. I'm sure all are excellent. 2) This is as much a graffiti walking tour as a tour of the history of the neighborhood and the drug-related violence in the last few decades, which in my opinion is a good thing.
